And then, there is the dilemma of the mess my fabrics have become. When I'm in the process of choosing for a quilt, or whenever I get some new fabrics, I have a really nasty habit of just tossing them in a pile 'to be sorted later.' Then the pile grows into a monster like this!
Maybe by next week, I'll be writing to say that I pulled myself together and actually got organized. Then I can show you a neat picture of all my organized drawers of fabric. (Yeah, I've been saying this for months now!)

You could use the fish fabric as appliques on another project. Or as a teacher, they could become flannel board squares!....(I used to be a preschool teacher!) lol
Hey! I think I recognize that blue and white fabric! Does it have snowmen on it? I think I have some of that!

@Tamela...Thanks for the input. Applique is a good idea. I'll have to keep that in mind.
Yeah, the blue and white has snowmen. Not my favorite, but it's cute. It would make a good apron, or the backing on placemats for winter, I think.
Make an ocean waves quilt with blue and green batiks, then cut out your favorite fish and applique them onto the waves. Make a few extra blocks to make a purse, but don't overdo the fish on a purse - just one or two will do.
